Ever wonder what really happens after you hit “submit?” Panelists Doris Ober from West Marin Review; Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, co-founder of the literary organization Women Who Submit; and Naomi Williams, reader for the highly competitive organizations Hedgebrook and Sustainable Arts (as well as a Hedgebrook alumna and Sustainable Arts grant recipient), will give the inside scoop on the business of judging submissions. Learn about common pitfalls and get tips on how to make your essay or writing sample shine in front of the judges. Moderated by Janine Kovac. Sales of the West Marin Review and Naomi Williams’ highly acclaimed debut novel Landfalls made possible by Copperfields.
