Join North Bay authors Christina Julian, Vicki DeArmon, and Teri Stevens, as they discuss their newest book, She’s Got This! Essays on Standing Strong and Moving On. Contributors of the newly released anthology, the trio will read essays from this inspired book, followed by a discussion on how to mine personal experiences and turn them into powerful prose. Be it for publication, inner growth, or because you have a story that yearns to be told.

Join us for two fabulous WoM events in one day! We’ll begin at 4 p.m. with a Marketing 101 Workshop, led by Julia Park Tracey and Christina Julian, to help jumpstart our She’s Got This! book launch promotion. Immediately following at 6 p.m., we’ll kick off 2019 with community writing and then raise a glass to toast the New Year and our own writing goals and aspirations. The Marketing 101 event will be available online at 4 p.m. Pacific Time on the 12th for Out-of-Area members via the WoM Facebook page. Please RSVP to teriwstevens@gmail.com by January 9.

Seventh Annual Mount Madonna Writing Retreat

January 18 to 20, 2019
There is no charge for the writing portion of this retreat, only for accommodations. The retreat is unstructured, although in years past, some of us have written silently side-by-side. Mount Madonna, located in the Santa Cruz mountains, is beautiful and features a wellness massage practice and yoga classes. (It’s a yoga commune with a Hanuman Temple, cafe, book and gift store.) Choose from cozy cabins or hotel-like rooms, shared bath or private. All meals are included. Stay one night! Stay both nights! Stay a whole week and make the rest of us jealous!
